New Life Church exists to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
New Life gathers every weekend for a time of worship and practical Bible teaching. You will find our gatherings to be authentic, warm and engaging. If you are a Christ follower or just kicking the tires of Christianity you will be challenged to grow spiritually and become like Jesus.
The heart of New Life is spiritual transformation. Jesus was clear about the missional commitment of the church: “Go and make disciples of all nations.” New Life is NOT about creating Christian consumers. We are unapologetic about calling people to follow our Founder and Savior Jesus Christ. Every semester our Growth Groups meet all over the community in homes, coffee shops and even on our campuses. These Growth Groups study, pray and share life together and intentionally find tangible ways to transform their culture together.
The church is not a building or a program. The church is a community of Christ followers who transform culture by serving and practically demonstrating the love of God to this hurting world. Our tangible expression of reaching this world is done through ACTS 13.
Pastor Troy H. Jones is lead pastor of New Life Church in the Pacific Northwest, a church known for straightforward Biblical teaching, innovation, and reaching people who are checking out Jesus for the first time. He and his wife of 22 years, Jana, have two daughters and make their home in Renton, Washington.
New Life Church began as a Bible study in the home of two sisters in 1926. Ever since that humble beginning, New Life has been led by passionate and innovative leaders. New Life has always had a strong culture of making disciples and supporting missionaries oversees. In 2004, Pastor Troy Jones became the lead pastor of New Life Church. Under his leadership, New Life Church has almost doubled in weekly attendance and launched it’s first offsite campus. Today, over 3,500 people worship weekly at one of the two campuses and seven gatherings; over 1,000 of which are children and youth. Each semester over 2,500 children, youth and adults grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ in a growth group.
