  • 16 (about 500g) beef chipolata sausages
  • 1 brown onion, halved, finely chopped

  • 125ml (1/2 cup) red wine
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) water

    Meanwhile, to make the polenta, bring the water and stock to the boil in a saucepan over high heat. Gradually add the polenta in a thin steady stream, stirring constantly until incorporated. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring, for 10 minutes or until mixture thickens. Add the parmesan and stir to combine.
  • Step 4
    Divide polenta among serving bowls. Top with the stew and parsley to serve.
