Ingredients

  • 2 slices rye bread
  • 1 slice high-fibre white bread
  • 2 teaspoons hummus
  • 2 teaspoons tzatziki
  • 1 celery stick
  • 1 carrot, cut into 4 thin slices

Method

  • Step 1
    Cut five 4cm squares from rye bread. Cut four 4cm squares from white bread. Arrange in a chessboard pattern on a large serving plate or tray.
  • Step 2
    Spread the white bread squares with hummus. Spread the rye bread squares with tzatziki.
  • Step 3
    Cut ten 1cm-thick, 5cm-long pieces from celery stick. Place 2 celery pieces on each rye square to make crosses. Place carrot slices on the white squares to make noughts.
