  • 350g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 150g butter, chopped
  • 3/4 cup (165g) brown sugar
  • 2 Coles Brand Australian Free Range Eggs, lightly whisked
  • 1 1/4 cups (185g) plain flour
  • 1/4 cup (25g) cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup (120g) sour cream
  • 50g milk chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 50g white chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup (50g) walnuts, chopped
  • Cocoa powder, extra, to dust
  • Vanilla ice-cream, to serve


  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 180C. Grease and line a 20cm square cake pan with baking paper, allowing the sides to overhang.
  • Step 2
    Combine 300g of dark chocolate and the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring, for 5 mins or until melted. Set aside to cool slightly.
  • Step 3
    Add the sugar and egg and stir to combine. Add the flour, cocoa and sour cream and stir to combine. Add the milk chocolate, white chocolate, remaining dark chocolate and the walnut. Gently fold until just combined. Pour into the prepared pan and smooth the surface.
  • Step 4
    Bake for 30-40 mins or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Set aside in the pan to cool completely. Cut the brownie into 4cm squares and dust with cocoa powder. Serve with vanilla ice-cream.
