  • 2 x 825g cans whole plums, well drained
  • 1 packet vanilla cupcakes
  • 310ml milk
  • Cinnamon sugar, to taste
  • Vanilla custard, to serve


  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 180C or 160C fan-forced. Using your fingers, gently ease the pit out of each plum. Place plums in an ovenproof dish (6-cup capacity).
  • Step 2
    Following packet instructions, add milk to cupcake mix. Pour over plums. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over batter.
  • Step 3
    Bake for 1 hour, until cooked when tested with a skewer. Cover loosely with foil if becoming too brown on top. Stand for 5 mins, then serve with vanilla custard.
