Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 25g milk chocolate, chopped
  • 8 Werther’s Original Classic candies, roughly chopped (see note)
  • 1/4 cup roasted and salted almonds, roughly chopped

Method

  • Step 1
    Using a pencil, draw an 18cm x 28cm rectangle on a sheet of baking paper. Place, pencil-side down, on a large baking tray.
  • Step 2
    Place dark chocolate in a microwave-safe heatproof bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM (50%) for 2 minutes or until smooth, stirring with a metal spoon halfway through.
  • Step 3
    Place milk chocolate in a microwave-safe heatproof bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM (50%) for 30 seconds to 1 minute or until smooth, stirring with a metal spoon halfway through.
  • Step 4
    Spoon dark chocolate onto baking paper. Spread into a rectangle, using the pencil mark as a guide. Using a spoon, drizzle milk chocolate over dark chocolate. Sprinkle with candies and almonds. Freeze for 10 to 15 minutes or until set. Roughly chop into 20 shards. Serve.
