  • 820g ripe tomatoes, chopped (see notes)
  • 1 celery stick, chopped, plus extra celery leaves, to serve
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups crushed ice, plus extra, to serve
  • Pinch of salt flakes
  • Hot sauce, to taste (see notes)


  • Step 1
    Place the tomato, celery, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and cayenne pepper in a high-powered blender. Add the ice and blend on high until smooth.
  • Step 2
    Add the salt flakes and hot sauce, to taste, and stir until well combined. Divide the extra crushed ice among serving glasses and pour over the tomato mixture. Garnish with extra celery leaves.
