  • 350g spaghetti
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 brown onion, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot, peeled, finely chopped
  • 1 celery stick, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 500g Coles Australian Beef 4 Star Mince
  • 500g jar tomato pasta sauce
  • 1 zucchini, coarsely grated
  • Finely grated parmesan, to serve

    Cook the spaghetti in a large saucepan of boiling water following packet directions or until al dente. Drain.

    Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the onion, carrot, celery and garlic. Cook, stirring, for 5 mins or until the onion softens. Add the mince and cook, stirring with a wooden spoon to break up any lumps, for 5 mins or until the mince changes colour and is cooked through.
  • Step 3
    Stir the pasta sauce into the mince mixture in the pan. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook for 5 mins or until the mixture thickens slightly. Stir in the zucchini.
  • Step 4
    Divide the spaghetti among serving bowls. Top with the bolognaise. Sprinkle with parmesan. Season.
