simple way to make any night of the week Watermelon granita

Halo, I hope you’re having an incredible day today. Today, we’re going to make a special dish, Watermelon granita. It is one of my favorites food recipes. For mine, I am going to make it a little bit tasty. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Watermelon granita is one of the most favored of recent trending foods on earth. It is simple, it is quick, it tastes delicious. It is enjoyed by millions every day. They are fine and they look wonderful. Watermelon granita is something that I’ve loved my entire life.

  • 2.5kg piece seedless watermelon, rind removed
  • 1 cup (220g) caster sugar
  • 1 cup (250ml) water
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) liquid glucose


  • Step 1
    Place two 20 x 30cm shallow metal trays in the freezer. Pass watermelon flesh through a juicer then strain juice through a fine sieve into a bowl.
  • Step 2
    Place sugar, water and liquid glucose in a small saucepan. Cook, stirring, over high heat until sugar dissolves and mixture boils. Boil for a further 10 seconds, then remove from heat. Allow to cool.
  • Step 3
    Add sugar syrup to watermelon juice then pour into chilled trays. Freeze for 4 hours or until partially set.
  • Step 4
    Using a fork, break frozen mixture up until it is quite slushy. Return mixture to freezer and repeat flaking process after 2 hours (at this stage tiny ice flakes should have formed). Return to freezer for a further 2 hours then repeat flaking process. Just before serving, repeat flaking process for the final time.
  • Step 5
    Serve spoonfuls in chilled glasses.
