  • 1 625g pkt fresh veal tortellini (Latina brand)
  • 1 575g jar tomato pasta sauce (Dolmio brand)
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) Massel chicken style liquid stock
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed dried chillies
  • 230g (1 1/2 cups) frozen peas
  • Salt & freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup fresh continental parsley leaves, chopped


  • Step 1
    Cook the tortellini in a large saucepan of salted boiling water following packet directions or until al dente. Drain well and return to the pan.
  • Step 2
    While the tortellini is cooking, place the pasta sauce, chicken stock, chillies and peas in a medium saucepan and stir to combine. Cover and bring to the boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium and simmer, partially covered, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until the peas are tender. Taste and season with salt and pepper. Stir in half of the parsley.
  • Step 3
    Add the sauce to the tortellini and toss to combine. Serve sprinkled with the remaining parsley.
